The Loader is responsible for finished packaging of anionic emulsion into both bulk trucks and IBC units. This position will require the loader to fill, correctly weight, record, and troubleshoot issues surrounding the filling of finished goods. In addition, housekeeping will be emphasized in this position. Waste dumping, plant checks (round sheets), and engagement on employee continuous improvement projects are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read, follow, and understand all pertinent operating procedures.

Operating and adjusting process parameters to ensure product quality

Ensure that finished product is blended, filtered, and sampled correctly

Transfers to all storage tanks are communicated and performed correctly

Replenish process essential chemicals to minimize process delays.

Understands the hazards of equipment and process chemicals and can operate equipment safely and efficiently

Operate and troubleshoot equipment. Operate forklift and conduct forklift inspections.

Able to accurately and consistently record process information.

Identify, communicate, and mitigate, if possible, all unsafe behaviors, conditions, and spills

Identify and understand properties and hazards of chemicals.

Understand and follow permit procedures i.e. confined space, hot work, and line break.

Assist with loading/unloading finished product as well as raw materials as needed.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.

Demonstrated good stewardship skills (Environmental, Health, and Safety)

Emulsion process knowledge preferred

Strong written and oral communications skills

Ability to work rotating shift and overtime, as needed

Ability to multi-task, must be a quick learner and adapt to change
