As Clariant expands its operations, we are seeking three experienced Account Representatives to support the Care Chemicals business unit in Broussard, LA. The Account Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our products/services at customer sites. This position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills related to the oil and gas industries and a customer-centric approach to field service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in physically demanding environments and enjoy working outdoors. The Account Representative will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that require strength, stamina, and agility. This position is a rotational shift that requires 50% travel.


Responsibilities

* Support customer base on a 14/14 rotation (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates
* Provide comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic, and analytical service to customers
* Perform maintenance overhauls and emergency services as needed
* Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs or replacements of defective parts/components as needed to restore functionality
* Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
* Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and customer support, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
* Represent Clariant with professionalism and integrity, maintaining a positive company image and reputation in all customer interactions
* Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service status, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with Clariant's products/services
* Provide on-site training to customers on the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Clariant's products/services
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at customer sites, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others


Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering preferred, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
* 3-5 years of oil and gas industry experience, oilfield chemical service is preferred
* Knowledge of oil and gas chemical production
* Must be able to work on an offshore rig on a rotational basis, adhering to strict safety protocols and industry regulations
* Must be able to travel 50% of time and obtain offshore qualifications
* Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and environments
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills
* Proficient problem-solving ability with customers, personnel, operations, and chemical solutions
